The game has already been released for Wii U in 2014, however, this version of the game for Nintendo Switch brings all the racing maps and characters from DLC that existed in the version for Wii U.The biggest updates on the game for this version has been the addition of the characters Inkling Girl and Inkling Boy from Splatoon, and King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr from the Super Mario games. There is also the Battle Mode in which the goal is not to win the race but to defeat your opponents in a great arena.
The game will also allow up to 4 players to play simultaneously using the TV screen mode connected to the video game dock and on tablet mode, 2 users can play together using split screen mode. Moreover, if there are up to 8 people, they will be able to compete locally using their own consoles, for that they will need an online connection. If, in case, everyone is present at the same environment, offline mode can also be used as an alternative.
To me, this game is as if it were already the final version with all the DLCs of the Wii U together. For those who may not know, the majority of game producers usually releases a second version of a game with all additional content.Therewith, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a great option to buy at the early stages of Nintendo’s brand new console.
