Looking for something special to do with your mom on Mother’s Day or maybe just something fun to do this weekend?
So here you go! This May on the 12th, 13th and 14th you can experience a Matsuri in the traditional Edo style (Period between 1603 and 1868 in the history of Japan). Haneda airport will once again host this festival at the international airport terminal where the fourth and fifth floors will be completely transformed into a village of the Edo period. And guess what? The entrance is free!
Food, magic shows, music, games, dances and street performers will send you back in time. Cast members wandering around the festival will be fully engaged in their roles to the point of pointing to your cell phone shocked by the “weird” technology you own. Just a walk around the Edo village and you will find yourself constantly surrounded by surprises.
So how about a short trip to the past? We are sure it will be an unforgettable experience!
